Marvel Studios certainly brought their A-game to Hall H at Comic-Con tonight, and while the panel was mostly focused around their 2015 releases ('Ant-Man' and 'Avengers 2' -- not too shabby), they did have some special surprises in store -- like confirmation of 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' and an official release date.

During an interview with our own Mike Ryan, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who also producers the films in the MCU, revealed that Nova/Richard Rider was originally part of an earlier draft of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' before getting cut. Does this mean we'll see the character pop up in future sequels of James Gunn's space opera? According to Feige, it's a strong possibility, but what needs to happen beforehand?

While 'Godzilla 2' and 'Warcraft' were definitely big draws at Legendary's panel today at Comic-Con 2014, the studio had a surprise up its sleeve: the announcement of 'Skull Island.' And if that name sounds familiar to you, that's because it's the birthplace of King Kong.

Perhaps this time we will let "our hero" Godzilla get some actual rest before dispatching him to battle the world's other major MUTOs? Is that too much to ask? Hot on the heels of the success of The CW's 'Arrow' television series comes the network's crack at another beloved DC superhero with their soon-to-premiere series 'The Flash.' Starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen (aka the fast-moving Flash), the new series spins off from 'Arrow,' but still promises to take the eponymous hero into a new direction -- you know, and quickly. The network has debuted a new teaser for the series at Comic-Con, and it's a fun and fresh look at what we can expect to see in the new series.

Before Marvel Studios' official panel later today at Comic-Con 2014, Marvel Animation gave a presentation that confirmed what we already suspected: the studio is prepping an animated 'Guardians of the Galaxy' series for Disney XD, which should help you bide the time between the first film and the planned sequel.

If it's Saturday at Comic-Con, it's time for the big guns to come out, and Warner Bros. has done that with some serious style. The studio's panel opened with a big, bruising look at 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,' thanks to a new trailer (and more on that to come -- much more!), before director Zack Snyder trotted out stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot to greet their fans.

HBO's smash hit 'Game of Thrones' might make for some very serious television, what with all that blood and death and battling and poisoning and dirty political machinations, but that doesn't mean that the series is without its own special humor, even if it not all of it makes its way into the final product. Turns out, when it comes time to film the small screen version of the beloved George R.R. Martin book series, even 'Game of Thrones' can't get away from tongue-twisting misread lines, a few unplanned pratfalls, and some unexpected getting down.
