Ohio rockers Starset recently stopped by the Rock 108 studios just to chit chat and play a few acoustic songs.

The band, who just played in Abilene last December, recently wrapped up their tour with In This Moment overseas. While the rest of the band flew back to Ohio, singer Dustin Bates, and bassist Ron DeChant decided to drive back instead, stopping off at different radio stations.

In the interview, which you can hear in the player above, we talked about touring overseas which led to a strange story where they blew up some of their equipment because of some power issues in Germany.

As the story goes, they blew up a Mac Mini and some other interfaces after an entire block lost power, and they ended up having to scramble around looking for equipment so they could perform.

We also talked about the band going out on the road with two of the hottest ladies in rock, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, and Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless. Plus, we talked about all of the festivals you can catch Starset on this year.

Check out the entire interview in the player above. In addition to the interview, Dustin and Ron gave us an acoustic performance of their hit songs "My Demons" and "Carnivore", which you can hear below.

'My Demons' (Acoustic)

'Carnivore' (Acoustic)

Huge thanks to Dustin and Ron for stopping by the studios. Hopefully we can get Starset back to Abilene in the near future!
