Rock 108’s Radio Cares for St. Jude Radiothon is Thursday and Friday

It's time for our annual Radio Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The radiothon is Thursday and Friday (2/28-3/1). Please help us raise money for these precious children, as they fight cancer and other deadly diseases, by making a one-time donation or becoming a Partner in Hope.

We'll also be hosting an online auction to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Some of the items up for grabs are a Fender guitar signed by Rock n Roll Hall of Fame band RUSH, a B.C. Rich guitar signed by Drowning Pool, a CD and mini-baseball bat signed by Papa Roach and a CD signed by Rock n Roll Hall of Fame member Slash.

St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.

In 1962, the survival rate for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common form of childhood cancer, was 4%. Today, the survival rate for this once deadly disease is 94%, thanks to research and treatment protocols developed by St. Jude.

If a child came up to you and asked for money to continue his or her cancer treatment, no way you would say no. Don't say no today.
