Anytime Motorhead rock 'Ace of Spades,' it's definitely a concert highlight, but the band added an extra special touch to their performances of the track over the weekend. They brought out an extra guitarist -- special guest Slash -- to perform the song at both their Friday night Los Angeles show at Club Nokia and their Coachella performance over the weekend.

The fun began Friday night with Slash emerging for the encore at Club Nokia. Slash laid down some blistering licks throughout the track, enjoying the opportunity to rock along with guitarist Phil Campbell throughout. But once the solo arrived, Slash got a chance to shine. The guitarist then stuck around for the night's final performance of 'Overkill.'

The former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver guitar great does have some history with the track however, as he has performed it with Lemmy at the 2010 Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Slash also previously worked with Lemmy on his own music, as Lemmy sang vocals on 'Doctor Alibi' from the guitarist's guest filled solo debut disc.

After the Friday night fun, Slash traveled with Motorhead out to the desert for their Coachella performance. According to the SB Sun, Lemmy introduced his guitar pal as "a friend of ours, a friend of yours" before Slash took the stage. He then proceeded to kill it on 'Ace of Spades' in the Mojave Tent just like he'd done two nights before.
