Puddle of Mudd Concert is Canceled But There Are Plenty of Live Music Options This Weekend
It's been since 2008 that Puddle of Mudd last played Abilene and it looks like it won't be anytime soon for a return. Following last week's meltdown in Dallas, Wes apparently gave an "encore" of that performance last night in College Station. So, Friday night's show in Abilene has been canceled.
If you purchased a ticket, you can get a refund at the Lucky Mule Saloon (regardless of point of purchase). You can also exchange that ticket (with refund of difference of price) for a ticket to the Wayne Static concert for Saturday night.
I know a lot of you were looking forward to that show, as was I. However, even though the show is canceled, there's still plenty of live rock this weekend to enjoy.
Here's a rundown of what's going on this weekend:
Friday (4/25)
- The Transporters at The Patio (South 2nd and Sycamore) - No Cover - $3 drafts, calls and domestics all night. Live music under the stars.
- Switchfoot with The Rocketboys at the Abilene Civic Center
- Kellen Heller, Ultralink and Rear Naked Choke at The Backroom
Saturday (4/26)
- Wayne Static with We Are the Riot, Corvus, A Threat to the Enemy and Neffarious at the Mule
- Kirk House Band at Jack Rabbit Slims
