Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor Covers Billy Idol’s ‘Eyes Without a Face’ in Recently Unearthed Video
These days, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Billy Idol don’t seem to have much in common, but back in the day that wasn’t the case. A recently unearthed clip shows a young Reznor covering one of Idol’s biggest hits, ‘Eyes Without a Face.’
The video shows Reznor, sporting a very ’80s poodle-type hairstyle, on keyboards and vocals for an old band. The group — likely Reznor’s Cleveland-based group the Urge — turns in a faithful, although rather synth-pop, cover of the Idol classic.
