MLB 13: The Show Cover Athletes Vie for Your Vote

Sony has revealed all the finalists for the MLB 13: The Show cover vote, including some not-so-surprising MVPs.

Joining the likes of Bryce Harper, Matt Kemp, CC Sabathia, Ryan Braun, and Andrew McCutcheon will be reigning National League MVP (and World Series champion), Buster Posey, and reigning American League MVP Miguel Cabrera.

That brings the grand total of potential cover stars up to seven, though there's definitely a hefty NL bias, with only two AL players making the cut. Somehow superstars like LA Angels outfielder Mike Trout and Kate Upton's boyfriend Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander were left out of the running, which is a shame because the baseball world needed one more reason to compare Harper's and Trout's respective seasons under a microscope.
