Some kids in California got the thrill of the lifetime recently as they not only got to meet Metallica frontman James Hetfield, but they got to play 'Enter Sandman' with him as well.

In California to receive an award from 'Little Kids Rock', a nonprofit organization that provides music instruction and instruments for public schools, Hetfield received the 'Livin' The Dream' award for his contributions to the organization.

After he received the award, Hetfield couldn't resist the urge to jam a familiar Metallica tune with the kids.
