Metallica’s Kirk Hammett Falls Onstage, Gets Made Fun of By Bandmates
Metallica's Kirk Hammett took a tumble at their show in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and his bandmates thought it was hilarious. Drummer Lars Ulrich shared video of the moment to his Instagram with the caption, "Careful in Sioux FALLS (geddit!?)"
The video ends with Ulrich sarcastically reenacting Hammett's fall and Trujillo exaggerating aid in helping him back up. It's quite a funny moment. You can watch it all unfold in Ulrich's post below.
As the Argus Leader points out, the band's Sioux Falls show at the Denny Sanford Premiere Center was reported to set a new attendance record for the venue. Over 12,000 fans came to the show, which surpassed the previous record-holder Carrie Underwood.
In other Metallica news, ...And Justice for All will be re-released on Nov. 2. It will contain a remastered version of the original recordings and a live recording of their 1988 performance at London's Hammersmith Odeon.
