It wouldn't be a next generation launch without an appearance from Madden NFL, and this latest trailer offers us our first look at actual gameplay from the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Madden NFL 25.

We've seen snippets of what Madden NFL 25 has to offer, but the previous footage shown didn't really give us much of a sense of what was being improved in the next-gen iteration. Here, we learn there will be a host of AI upgrades in blocking and the running game. The computer will now run an incredible amount of computations to provide a more realistic war in the trenches. True Step offers improved locomotion for runners, and takes speed and momentum into account when charging down the field. The faster you're moving, the more steps it will take to adjust course to juke out of the way.

We're still wary about Madden's debut on the new systems based on the last console transition, but we do like what we're seeing in EA's trailers. We won't have to wait much longer to find out whether or not this new Madden NFL 25 can deliver, as it will be out in just a few weeks for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
