This Saturday, the streets of downtown Abilene will be filled with people of all ages enjoying a day (and night) out at the Key City Block Party. There will be live music, dancing, art, awesome food, drinks (yes, beer too), vendors and more for a family-friendly event that's sure to be a hit for years to come.

In what is being billed as a celebration of art and entertainment in Abilene, the Key City Block Party is the brainchild of two ACU seniors, MaryCarol Fox and Jordan Fox.

The event will kick off around 4pm and last til about 11pm (possibly even midnight).

The group organizing this event is currently called the Young Adult Cult, but will change to Key City Connection this summer when they file for our non-profit status. Their mission is to get young adults more connected with Abilene.

Hats off to MaryCarol, Jordan and the Young Adult Cult for their efforts in bringing the streets of Abilene to life this Saturday night.

The group also has a GoFundMe page set up to help out with some of the costs associated with such an awesome event.
