'Jurassic Park 4' has been hunting down its human cast, with Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson reportedly on board. Now the latest actor Universal has set its sights on is Josh Brolin.

So once the 'Oldboy' star exacts his revenge in Spike Lee's remake of the South Korean film, he just might be headed into 'Jurassic World.' While no formal offer has been extended to Brolin, multiple outlets report one is expected to go out shortly. Details on the role, and the film's general plot for that matter, are still under wraps, though the two most recent additions, Simpkins ('Iron Man 3') and Robinson ('The Kings of Summer'), are reportedly portraying brothers.

'Jurassic Park 4,' to be produced by original director Stephen Spielberg and helmed by Colin Trevorrow, is set for release on June 12, 2015. So expect the full casting roster to be released closer to the 2014 production start date. Jake Johnson, who starred in Trevorrow's 'Safety Not Guaranteed,' was another name reportedly in the mix for a lead, though there's no word on whether it's the same part for which Brolin is being eyed.

Aside from 'Oldboy,' hitting theaters November 27, Brolin can be seen down the road in 'Labor Day' opposite Kate Winslet, 'Sin City 2,' 'Inherent Vice' and 'Everest.'

Aside from Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing 'Jurassic Park 4' from a script by Derek Connolly.
