Interview With Tantric's Hugo Ferreira

Ahead of Tantric's show in Abilene on Saturday (July 12th), singer and musician, Hugo Ferreira called in, and we talked about the band's new album '37 Channels', stage diving, getting engaged, and a whole lot more.

It's always a pleasure to talk to Hugo because the dude is just so down to earth and will talk about anything - even getting hurt doing a stage dive:

"I thought it would have been a good idea to, like, do a 24 foot stage dive off the top. In retrospect, don't ever let me do that again."

On the recording process of the new album '37 Channels':

"This record I did a little bit differently. I recorded the record by myself, then I found the players that I felt would be the best to fit the style of this record"

When talking about how he proposed to his girlfriend:

"I basically was in my boxer shorts and said, "Hey, would you like to put one of these (ring) on your finger?"
