Hollywood Undead’s Johnny 3 Tears Talks New Album, Marriage and ‘Star Wars’

Hollywood Undead will rock Abilene on May 7th at The Silo. Ahead of their show, Johnny 3 Tears called in and we talked about everything from their new album to marriage.

Before the interview really got going, I asked Johnny if he participates in the official unofficial 'Star Wars' May 4th holiday, which he doesn't.

"Yeah, I've been seeing a lot of those hashtags on Twitter and it's been pissing me off. Look, I don't hate on people who actually like 'Star Wars' but I know half the people that are posting this crap haven't even seen the original ones."

So, he's not so much into celebrating 'Star Wars' day but the band do have a lot to celebrate lately as they just released their 4th studio album "Day of the Dead", plus one of their members, J-Dog just got engaged. In fact, the latter is what led into Johnny's rant on marriage.

"My thought process is 'OK, I have a life I'm trying to live, let me invite someone in to screw it all up. I just can't see the reasoning."

We went on to talk about the new album, whether or not he's ever worn his mask in the bedroom, his thoughts on the band KISS, and so much more.
