19-year-old Kaleb Cory, a former Cooper High School student, lost his life this past weekend when he was stabbed during an altercation at a local apartment complex.

Friends of the Cory family have set up an account to help raise funds for funeral expenses and other related bills.

Please help in supporting the Cory family in this difficult time.

They lost their son Kaleb Cory on July 27, in a senseless act of violence. Kaleb was only 19 years old and had a bright future ahead of him. He was a recent graduate from Cooper High School, where he was captain of the football team. Kaleb had an infectious personality with his contagious smile and constant humor.

Please help us in honoring Kaleb's memory by showing support for his family. We are hoping to raise funds to help with final expenses and bills. We hope you will open your hearts to them by donating what you can, any amount will help. [Sandra & David Morgan]

Losing a child is tough enough without having to worry about the burden of final expenses. Let's show the family that our community cares and want to help out.

There is also an account set up under his mother's name, Kristy Cory, at Abilene Teacher's Federal Credit Union.
