Cross Plains might not be the first place you would think to look for an astronaut but that's where you will find one this November 26th. Cross Plains is the home of the Columbia Shuttle Tire and Space Exhibit. The Columbia Space Shuttle blew up over Texas in 2003.

Former NASA astronaut Sid Gutierrez will be visiting Cross Plains on Monday, November 26th. He will be sharing his experiences on shuttle missions STS-40 and STS-59 plus, there will be a BBQ. The details of the event are as follows.
