DragonForce Announce 2012 North American Tour Dates

Following the release of their new album ‘The Power Within,’ UK power metal band DragonForce will bring their face-melting guitar assault to North America for the first full tour behind new vocalist Marc Jacobs.

After owners of ‘Guitar Hero III’ developed carpal tunnel from trying to emulate their lightning-fast guitar licks on ‘Through the Fire and Flames,’ DragonForce are back with a new album and a new singer. The band returns with their fifth full-length album ‘The Power Within’ on April 17. The album marks the band’s first recorded effort with vocalist Marc Hudson, who replaces founding singer ZP Theart.

Though fans of DragonForce may have gotten a preview of Hudson fronting the band during their intimate North American tour last fall, the band will return with a proper tour that kicks off April 21 in Worcester, Mass., with tour support from Holy Grail and Huntress.
