Dallas Cowboys Blowout Buffalo Bills [PICTURES]
Armed with their recently new found running attack, the Dallas Cowboys pounded the Buffalo Bills 44-7 in a game that was over before the first quarter was done. Tony Romo started the game completing his first 13 passes that included TD passes of 34, 5 and 58 yards and the rout was on as the Cowboys jumped out to a 21-0 lead. Romo ended up setting a Cowboy record for completion percentage hitting 23 of 26 passes for a 88.5 rating to move past Danny White.
DeMarco Murray had another great game, rushing for 135 yards. Murray has now rushed for 674 yards on 100 carries for the season for a 6.7 yards per carry average. Insane!
The Dallas defense, even with Fred Jackson getting over 100 yards, did a great job of shutting down the Bills offense. In fact, DeMarcus Ware started the total domination by sacking Fitzpatrick on the Bill's first play of the game and it was pretty much all downhill from there as the Cowboys picked off Ryan Fitzpatrick 3 times including Terence Newman's interception return for a touchdown.
All in all, the Cowboys (5-4) looked great showing what they can do with a balanced attack and if they can keep this momentum going through the rest of the season, they just might be heading to the playoffs, even after the rough start to the season. The Cowboys next 3 games are against horrible teams. They play Washington, Miami, then Arizona. So, if the 'boys play like they have the past two games, there is no reason they shouldn't be 8-4 heading into the big game against the Giants on December 11th.
So, do you think the Cowboys are better than what everybody thinks or does Buffalo suck a lot more than what everybody thinks?
In the meantime, check out a recap of the game in pictures.
