‘Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie’ Rolls Into Theaters April 18th

Everybody's favorite stoner duo is back in 'Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie'. But, as big of a fan as I am of the long time stoney dudes, I'm not so sure that it's going to be that good.

It has been since 1990 when the last Cheech & Chong movie 'Far Out Man' came out. And since then, with Tommy Chong being in and out of jail, and Cheech Marin's successful TV and voice acting career, the duo haven't done anything together in a long time. Fast forward to 2008, and Cheech & Chong finally reunited to do a comedy tour together and gave everybody hopes that a new movie would come out soon.

Well, that time has come and 'Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie' is coming April 18th. However, I'm not so sure how cool this movie is going to be. After watching the trailer a few times, I see all of the old school gags that were used in older films, but, to me, it seems like their comedy is a little forced and a little dated.

Like I said, I've been a  huge fan of Cheech & Chong for as long as I can remember. Their movies like 'Up In Smoke', 'Cheech & Chong's Next Movie', and 'Nice Dreams' are among the funniest movies I have ever seen. I just feel a little disappointed with this animated movie.

Don't get me wrong, I will be watching it when it comes out, I just hope that the movie itself is better than the trailer.
