People in Australia were getting a little...uh, ticked off, at some mouth-shaped urinals at a French restaurant.  In fact, so much, that the place eventually just took them out.  But, why?  Are they really offensive?

The place in question is a French restaurant called 'Ananas'.  According to their Facebook page, the urinals are a commonly used European design piece from female Dutch artist Meike van Schijndel. They were inspired by Rolling Stones' frontman, Mick Jagger's lips and not intended on reflecting on a woman's lips as most people assumed.  Since the restaurant got so much flack about them, they decided to remove them.

But, why?

It seems like the world has lost it's sense of humor.  I mean, I get why they might be offensive to women, but, most of the time, women don't go into the men's room.  So, why would they be offensive?  If anything, it should offend men because, well, let's face it, a big mouth coming at you while you're trying to take care of business might freak some out, or even make someone feel a little inadequate.

So, what are your thoughts on these, or any other types of specialized urinals?

Ponder that question while you check out this video of some pretty wicked looking urinals and toilets.
