Albuquerque Officer Saves Baby’s Life [VIDEO]

I think we can all use a good cop story right about now. This is a great reminder that most police wake up in the morning and truly want to help their communities. This cop just happens to live right next door in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Officer Martin Smith responded to a call of a baby that was not breathing. He performed CPR on the 8-month-old baby and was able to resuscitate the little girl. The baby is said to be doing just fine.

When asked about the situation, Smith was humble and honest: "That's what makes doing this job good. That's the good part of it."

Thankfully, the amazing scene was all caught on his body cam.
