The Abilene Prairie Dogs had their season end eight games early this year because none of the games on their schedule had playoff implications. So, they have had an extra week to ponder how to make the 2013 season a more productive one for the P-Dogs.

After hearing news of the abbreviated season, I felt it was a good idea to ask you what you think the Prairie Dogs need to do to make their team better.According to our official poll, 44% of you decided that fielding a more competitive team is the most important item the Abilene Prairie Dogs need to tend to looking ahead to next year.

Other voters are interested in seeing the Abilene baseball team being more involved in the community, making going to games more fun for fans, getting their own stadium and selling beer.

Here’s a look at the complete results.
