Warren Sapp, former defensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was arrested Monday morning in Phoenix for allegedly soliciting a prostitute, according to TMZ.

Sapp was in Phoenix covering the Super Bowl for the NFL Network.

Sapp was also arrested for assault, which police say occurred during the prostitute solicitation.

According to ABC15 Arizona, Sapp admitted his involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting either of the women.

Sapp may have also been suspended indefinitely from the NFL Network, according to Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch. He initially reported Sapp had been suspended, but then reported the suspension is pending the outcome of the police investigation.
