The "Kiichichaos Karaoke" continues on Matt Heafy's Twitch channel, where fans can make donations and request songs for the Trivium frontman to cover. With Toto's "Africa" now off the list, he's moved on to another track far outside the comforts of heavy metal: Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time."

At first, Heafy keeps the cover close to the original, or as original as you can with just a guitar and some delicate singing. The scratchy, chugging guitar work eventually takes on a more metal form as he adds in some tremolo picking in the mid-section for a black metal touch, which sounds a little cheeky with that high singing. By the end, Heafy's gone full-metal, incorporating some growling vocals.

Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time," Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love," Frank Sinatra's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and more have all been covered by Heafy over the last year, though not as part of his "Kiichichaos Karaoke" series. He also covered Blink-182's "Dammit" in the style of In Flames and Johnny Cash.

Keep an eye on Heafy's channel for more cover selections. If you'd rather watch the Heaf play some Trivium material, catch the band on the road from July 13 through July 29. They'll embark on another North American headlining run in October in continued support of their latest record, 2017's The Sin and the Sentence, and have tapped Avatar and Light the Torch as the support acts for the run. See a list of those upcoming stops here.
