Right after his big State of the Union address, the President of the United States is on his way to the Sun City. Last night during President Trump's State of the Union  address, the President spoke about his push for more government funding for a wall between the United States and Mexico. He urged Congress to put border security first, and warned of another potential government shutdown happening in less than two weeks. Here is what President Trump had to say about El Paso during his State of the Union address,

“The border city of El Paso, Texas used to have extremely high rates of violent crime — one of the highest in the entire country and considered one of our Nation's most dangerous cities. Now, immediately upon its building, with a powerful barrier in place, El Paso is one of the safest cities in our country.”

Now, it seems that the President will be coming to see just how safe the city of El Paso is. The president's campaign announced today that Donald Trump will be coming to El Paso next week, on February 11th. According to the El Paso Times, this rally is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the El Paso County Coliseum. This will be the president's first rally in the Sun City and his seventh in the state of Texas.
