The company MyPlates.com has been auctioning off vanity license plates for charity. Most recently at auction was the '12th Man' vanity plate for Texas A&M. For weeks the top bid has been at $35,000 (a U.S. record on it's own) but yesterday the plate sold for $115,000.
The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has invited Texans to share their opinion on proposed specialty license plate designs. The e-View is open for public comment until 5 p.m. Monday the 29th.
