The day has finally come for Katy Perry to reveal the winning school in her "Roar" video contest on Good Morning America. A contest in which Abilene Cooper High School was a top 5 nationwide finalist.
And the winning school is...
Katy Perry will announce the winner of the "Roar" contest on October 18th and we want to get her attention in hopes she'll pick our very own Cooper High School.
Many have already taken to Twitter using #pickcooper with the aspiration of becoming a trending topic that Katy herself will notice and act on.
As most of you know our very own Cooper High School is now in the running for a Katy Perry concert coming up on October 25th. The students made the Top 5 finalists with an outstanding video using Perry's song 'Roar'.
Cooper High School students recently put together a video for the GMA/Katy Perry 'Roar' contest. The video has had Abilene talking as well as a hot trending topic on Facebook and Twitter. It was a great piece of work and they were rewarded this morning when GMA announced live to the nation that Cooper was one of the 5 finalists in the contest.
