Scientists Call For a Ban On Killer Robots

A group of scientists is calling on the world to ban the use of killer robots in warfare. Last week, a group of researchers gathered to talk about the serious matter during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Many scientists said they believe the world could be using artificial intelligence in battle within the next few years. They warned that a robot programmed for battle and able to make its own decisions would be very dangerous if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

The scientists believe that the robots would not be able to follow the rules of war and would be very likely to make unethical decisions. I'm assuming they have been watching too many programs on the History Channel.
