Pussy Riot member Nika Nikulshina has reportedly been arrested for the second time in the span of one month. According to Pussy Riot, the Russian performer was taken into custody while at her friend’s house “for no reason.”

Nikulshina was part of Pussy Riot’s team who invaded the field at last year’s World Cup Final. The pitch invaders were given 15 days in jail for the stunt, but soon after, the group won a $58,000 decision from the Russian government due to conditions they faced after being locked up in 2012.

A report in Medusa, corroborated by Pussy Riot and the group’s representatives, says that officers arrested Nikulshina for questioning because “a group of young people have damaged a piece of government property.” The activist’s friends were also taken into custody.

Pussy Riot insist this charge is false and simply a lie to keep people intimidated. The news along with photos from the arrest have been shared on Facebook:

The radical punk activist group will arrive in the U.S. later this month to perform at Sonic Temple. Along with a set of music, Pussy Riot member Nadya will perform at the event’s Comedy and Spoken Word Tent.
