Artist Scott Campbell issued out some unique lotto tickets, as he picked a certain number of brave people to tattoo in the middle of his creative performance art exhibit titled Whole Glory, a one-man installation and performance at
Milk Gallery on West 15th Street in Manhattan.

The lucky few who were chosen received a one-hour tattoo session with Campbell, but the catch was they didn't get to interact with him. They actually have to stick their arm through a small hole in the middle of a 50-foot-long painting by him and didn't get to tell Campbell anything to inspire the tattoo.

Campbell then tattooed whatever he felt was appropriate for that arm. He believes there is a lost beauty in art when it is overthought by both tattooist and the customer so his goal was to just get lost in his thoughts, "You can get lost in the work without worrying what people will think."
