Flying the day of a show is always risky. NOFX's flight from Canada to California for their headlining set at the west coast edition of this year's Warped Tour was canceled, and as they took a private plane to make the gig in time, other bands (Sum 41, Thrice and more) jumped onstage to play NOFX covers to an eager crowd.

The punk icons documented their woes on Instagram, uploading a photo from the private plane and a video of a police escort to the venue once they landed.

While NOFX were in transit, Thrice, Sum 41, Yungblud and members of Atreyu, Hyro the Hero, The Starting Line, The Rejects and others kept the crowd entertained with NOFX favorites.

Thrice tackled the Punk in Drublic favorite, "Linoleum," Sum 41 enlisted The Starting Line singer Kenny Vasoli for "Stickin' In My Eye," an all-star lineup comprised of Yungblud and members of Atreyu and Hyro the Hero played "Bob" and fans were pulled out of the crowd to help out with "The Brews," where NOFX's Fat Mike made his way onstage to close out the song before the band finally began their headlining set.

The event marked the presumed conclusion of the long-running Vans Warped Tour. See our photos from the California installment here and for shots from the New Jersey edition, head to this location.
