Nile's ninth album, Vile Nilotic Rites, is coming Nov. 1 and they've just debuted the title track, which is the second new single to be released.

While Nile's modus operandi is menacing speeds and marathon blast beats, they've always known how to pump the brakes and deliver devastating mid-tempo death metal anthems. "Vile Nilotic Rites" is one of these songs which lunges with massive, mammoth riffs. There's still some blasts to be found, but this track is all about that slow-grinding churn.

"'Vile Nilotic Rites' was a depraved yet fun song to write and record. Now that we are playing it live on tour, we are for sure enjoying sharing the song onstage with metal fans," begins founder Karl Sanders.

"'Vile' is a catchy track with a lot of variety in the tempo; from crushing heavy, to irresistible mid-paced groove, to uptempo blasting. It also has a creeping, heavy evil vibe yet with just the right amount of technicality to be an undeniably fun blast to play," he continued, adding, "The lyrics are some of my favorite on the album as are the vocal performances, par excellence from Brian and Brad, as well as some extremely brutal yet tasteful and enjoyable drum work from George. Vile was one of the first songs written for this album so we have certainly impatiently waited a long time to be able to bring this track to metal fans."

Read the lyrics to "Vile Nilotic Rites" and listen to the song below.

He worships dogs and reptiles
He blackens his eyes with soot like a prostitute
He dances and plays the cymbals in vile nilotic rites

I am asked if he has gone mad
If he has been bewitched, having coupled with a sorceress
For he has become soulless, degenerate
In thrall to the detestable and unclean antedeluvial rites of the phallus
More ancient than even the river Nile
Groveling in a world of numbing debauchery
Sodded, addicted, degraded
Fallen into depravity
He has sown the seeds of madness
Consumed by irrationality
Decadence, deviancy and excess
What one worships, one becomes

Whores, hermaphrodites, lickspittles
The corrupt and the drunken are all that is left of him
For he is wretched
Consumed by lascivious and abominable orgies of flesh and blood
Infected by impious acts
A slave to the immortal passions
That contaminate and defile the soul
Inflicted with incurable decay
Staggering witlessly to his doom
What one worships, one becomes
What one worships, one becomes
What one worships
