Metallica performed at the Dreamforce benefit concert at San Francisco’s Civic Center on Wednesday night (Sept. 26). While the event raised millions for the UCSF (University of California San Francisco) Benioff Children’s Hospital, a bevy of neighbors complained about the noise bombarding the city.

Some individuals took to Twitter to voice their complaints about the noise. “Is Metallica almost done,” asked Caroline Abate on Twitter. “I wanna go to sleep.” See a list of the tweets below.

This is not the first time Metallica or San Francisco had to deal with elevated noise levels. The city’s AT&T Park, which primarily serves as the home of the MLB team the Giants, has hosted many concerts over the years and constantly deals with locals complaining about noise levels. At a Jay Z concert in 2014, the sound traveled up to three miles and the city took action to work with acoustic engineers to suppress the noise. The following year AC/DC performed at the stadium and surprisingly the city only received 12 complaints.

The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital also featured a set from Janet Jackson, who performed inside the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Metallica played on an outdoor stage located just outside the Civic Center. The $1,000-per-ticket event raised millions of dollars for the Children's Hospital.
