Remember when you were a kid and all the rides at the fair were cool and you wanted to ride them all? Well, now we're older, wiser, and see things like this online.

This took place in La Marque, Texas, which is near Galveston, just across the bay. The ride was at the 'Magical Winter Lights Lantern Festival' and a bystander shot footage of the moment a metal beam broke loose and came crashing to the ground.

Thankfully no one was hurt and all passengers on the ride were able to get off the ride with no issues. Witnesses did say however, there was someone walking close to the ride that was almost struck bu the metal beam.

Until further notice, the ride has been shut down and festival organizers are investigating what led to the incident. No other comments or statements were made readily available.
