The recall includes over 10 million pounds of products due to the presence of Listeria being discovered in random samples by food inspectors.

What is Listeria?

Listeria is a form of bacterial infection that is known to cause a variety of symptoms like fever, nausea, or diarrhea. Often Listeria is not too concerning for healthy adults, but it can be very dangerous for unborn children if the mother is exposed, or to immune compromised people, and the elderly.
