Truckers Say This Texas City Has the Worst Drivers

If there’s anyone out there who can tell you which cities have the worst drivers, it’s truckers. In a recent survey, they singled out a city in Texas for having some of the worst drivers in the country. 

Look, I’ll be the first to admit to being far from perfect. But I do everything in my power to be a safe and courteous driver. So, it grinds my gears when others do not. 

That said, I’m pretty good at keeping road rage in check. No matter how bad someone pisses me off with their terrible driving, it’s not worth getting into a screaming match, or worse, a brawl.

When it comes to bad drivers, we have our fair share here in Wichita Falls. Hell, we even have a liner that airs on The Buzz talking about how the drivers in this town have us looking both ways at green lights. That’s no joke, either. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched people blow through the red light next to our parking lot.

The Texas City That Ranked the Worst

However, as bad as I and many other people I’ve talked to perceive the drivers to be in this town, it can apparently be a lot worse. Wichita Falls wasn’t even ranked among the 250 U.S. cities with the worst drivers in a survey of 3,015 truckers. 

And while there are many Texas cities on the list, College Station was ranked the worst in Texas, coming in at number 22. So, the next time you’re in Aggieland, you’ll want to be extra careful when you’re behind the wheel.
