The man in the red suit has begun his journey to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls across the world.
Santa's Big Job
Yes friends, the world is a big place and Santa has already started hitting up some time zones around the world to deliver presents. It's a pretty big job so an early start is pretty darn important. We really have no idea about the logistics of the situation, whether the deer have to stop and end, or whether Santa has to go to the bathroom, or even stop for some beef jerky. We just have to trust that he's going to get it done.
Eyes In The Sky
Fortunately for us, Santa is being tracked by NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (How do they get the initials NORAD out of that?). This is something that has been going on since 1948. Of course the technology has been upgraded and it's a sure way to keep computer/tablet/phone savvy kids busy during the holidays.
Track Santa Now!
You can track Santa's movements on the NORAD map in either 2D or 3D right here. If you think you're kid wants to stay on the case, you might want to go ahead and download the whole app from Google Play or in the Apple Store. Be warned everyone: I tried cheating to find out when he'd be over Texas and it doesn't appear to work that way. NORAD apparently does not predict when Santa will visit, but only tracks him as he makes his stops.
