Join the Wylie Christian Church for Market Days on September 13th
Wylie Christian Church’s Market Days is back on Saturday, September 13, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6250 Buffalo Gap Road. It’s a free event that mixes a flea market, arts-and-crafts fair, and bake sale into one big community fundraiser, all benefiting local youth programs.

Fall and Back-to-School Themes
This month’s Market Days carries a Back-to-School and Fall theme, with vendors offering unique items such as:
- Color Street nails
- Sublimation tumblers
- Mini tres leches cakes
- Crochet crafts
- 3D-printed creations
- Jewelry and small toys
You’ll find everything from handmade goods to yard-sale bargains. If you love deals, this is the place to be.
A Church That Rocks in More Ways Than One
If you’ve ever stepped into a Sunday service at Wylie Christian Church, you know the experience is unforgettable. Pastor Doug Roysden leads the Wylie Christian Church Praise Band, filling the room with faith-based music that feels like a rock concert, lifting spirits and setting the tone for the week ahead.
Why It’s Personal for Me
This church is dear to my heart. For more than ten years, Pastor Doug and his parishioners have opened their doors to let me cook Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for anyone who had nowhere else to go, including lonely veterans, active-duty military stationed far from home, foster kids, and elderly neighbors who might otherwise be spending the holidays alone.
That generosity doesn’t stop at the holidays. Wylie Christian Church is constantly serving Abilene and the Big Country, caring for foster children, supporting outreach ministries, and making sure no one in our community feels forgotten. That’s why Market Days is more than just shopping, it’s about being part of something bigger.
