A Personal Dream Shared by Many

If you ask me personally, I believe this is one of the most heartwarming and inspiring events we host here in Abilene, Texas. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of owning my own business, or maybe even multiple businesses. That dream still lives in me today. And for the young Texans growing up in our community with that same spark, the Abilene Chamber of Commerce is giving them something I wish I had at their age: a chance to turn their dreams into reality.

What Is the Children's Business Fair?

The 2025 Children’s Business Fair is happening on Saturday, July 12, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mall of Abilene. This event is hosted by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce and proudly presented by the Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union. It's open to all young entrepreneurs between the ages of 6 and 14 who want to learn how to build a product or brand and then sell it, just like real business owners.

Elizabeth Gray from Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union put it best: “This inspiring event empowers young minds with real-world business skills. We're proud to invest in the future leaders of our community.”

This isn’t just about making money. It’s about learning business ethics, problem-solving, marketing, and the value of hard work, skills that will serve these kids for a lifetime.

How to Register

Young entrepreneurs can register through June 30th at 5:00 PM by visiting abilenechamber.com. Spaces fill up fast, and this opportunity only comes around once a year.
