From amazing natural wonders to buildings that have stood the test of time, the Lone Star State is home to many iconic landmarks many Texans may take for granted, but visitors worldwide are in awe.

I have lived in Texas all of my life so I have visited many of these places several times. Chilling out on the beaches of South Padre Island has to be one of my favorites. The vibe and culture of the San Antonio River Walk are also pretty cool. Or have you ever had a buffalo burger at the Fort Worth Stockyards? Immediate bliss.
