How to Destroy Angels, a side project of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, has released a video for 'Keep it Together,' which finds the musicians performing the song in the studio. The song will appear on the band's second EP 'An Omen,' which will be released Nov. 13. A full-length album, with some of 'The Omen's' songs, is expected in early-2013.

The band also features Reznor's wife, Mariqueen Maandig, Rob Sheridan and Atticus Ross. Reznor and Ross have collaborated on the scores for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘The Social Network,’ for which they won an Academy Award.

For someone who is well-known for his independent streak, it was a surprise to learn that Reznor signed with Columbia Records for the release. “We’ve really spent a long time thinking about things and it makes sense for a lot of reasons, including a chance to work with our old friend [Columbia records exec] Mark Williams,” Reznor wrote on Facebook back in September. “Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.”

Nov. 13 will be a busy day for Reznor fans. His theme song to the video game 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II' will also be released commercially.
