Geoff Tate Talks Music, Touring, and Life on The Afternoon Binge

Geoff Tate, formerly of Queensryche, called in to the Afternoon Binge to chat about his new project, Operation Mindcrime, as well as life in general.

Getting the opportunity to speak to such a legendary artist was an honor for me. He gave us insight on his new album, The Key, which is out now. We talked about how the track, The Fall, is the 'end of this record and the beginning of the next'.

He also confirmed that The Key was the first of a trilogy of albums that Operation Mindcrime have planned.

A really interesting part of the interview was how he met Dave Ellefson, of Megadeth, and how that eventually turned into Dave contributing to The Key.
