Fever 333 have toed the line between hard rock and hip hop while building their audience, and during a recent show in London they called upon their new pals the Nova Twins for a live mash up that paired some of their musical loves.

"Made a little history with Nova Twins with an unheard and unprecedented song/band mashup," tweeted the group along with video of the performance. As you can hear, the group uses Green Day's "Brain Stew" as the musical base for their performance.

From there, they run through a couple of rap numbers, starting with the 2Pac / Dr. Dre collaboration, "California Love," moving into Eminem and Dr. Dre's "Forgot About Dre" and finishing with a bit of 2019's megahit "Old Town Road" from Lil' Nas X. Check it out in the player below.

As Nova Twins exited the stage, Jason Aalon Butler made note that it was the first time they welcomed a guest onstage. He added, "You should be paying attention to them. They mean a lot to this music and a lot to this culture."

The London-based female duo recently signed to Butler's 333 Wreckords, with their debut album Who Are the Girls? due out Feb. 28. Much like Fever 333, Nova Twins blend genres a bit but do have an aggressive rock side to their sound. Keep an ear out for their new music and touring coming next year.

As for Fever 333, they're currently off the road for the remainder of the year until picking things up again in late January in Japan. See their 2020 dates listed here.
