Drink of the Day Recap

Ever since we started doing the Drink of the Day on Rock 108, I get tons of emails and phone calls asking how to make some of the drinks I feature.  So, I thought I would make it easier for everybody and give you the Drink of the Day recap every Saturday. The Drink of the Day is good for 2500 points for your Rockoholic VIP account if you pick the exact drink that I gave you on air on a certain day during the work day week.  These points can be spent just like money and you can win a ton of things like electronics, gift cards, cash, trips and more.  Not only that, but I give you the recipes to make these drinks.

Fruit Booty

You have to appreciate a drink with the word "booty" in it.

Thunder

Not sure I would drink a drink with an egg yolk in it.

1 1/2 oz brandy
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 pinch cayenne peppers
1 egg yolk

Dirty Knees

This seems like it would be a pretty naughty drink.

1 oz gold tequila
1/4 oz peach schnapps
1 splash grenadine syrup
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice

Elephant Gun

Not sure why this one is called an elephant gun. I guess it knocks you on your ass.

1 oz whiskey
1 oz pineapple juice
1 dash lemon juice
1 tsp sugar

Roman Candle

After a few too many of these, you might end up a human roman candle if you know what I mean.

1 oz dark rum
1 oz brandy
1/2 oz LBV port
1 oz raspberry syrup
3/4 oz lemon juice
