Friday, November 12 will be the last day to register for the 2021 FOX West Texas Christmas Lights Parade. This is a highly-anticipated and much-beloved holiday tradition in Abilene and the Big Country, and since spots in the parade are limited, everyone is encouraged to submit all necessary documents ahead of the Friday deadline.

This year's Parade will focus on the theme of "Christmas Memories."

What documents do you need to enter the Parade?

All of the documents needed to enter can be found on the FOX West Texas Christmas Lights Parade's website here. These documents include a Welcome Letter, an official Entry Form, a Release Form, and Rules and Regulations.

Both the Entry Form and Release Form, along with proof of valid Texas vehicle insurance for all vehicles involved in the group, must be received by the FOX West Texas Christmas Lights Parade by Friday, November 12.

The official Entry Form must be filled out in its entirety to be accepted by the Parade. Complete contact information for a group supervisor must be included. Groups can be entered into the following divisions: school groups, military/squad, clubs/groups, vehicles, equine, or others. Vehicles and floats must declare their total length on this form, and participants should contact the Parade Coordinator if their float or vehicle will be over 12 feet tall.

The 'Float Details' section will be used to describe and provide identification for your float as it passed the Broadcast zone, so don't leave out the interesting backstory behind your group or your design.

The 2021 Release Form must be signed by each entry to participate in the Parade. All Held Harmless agreements must also be signed by the main group contact/supervisor. Proof of insurance must be submitted for every vehicle to Susan Acuna at sacuna@tenga.com, and participants must carry a copy at the Parade.

Contact Parade Coordinator Susan Acuna at sacuna@tenga.com, or visit the FOX West Texas Christmas Lights Parade online.
