DevilDriver have been forced to cancel their September and October European tour due to "unexpected circumstances, completely out of the control of the band." They've apologized in an official statement, vowing to return in 2020.

"The members of DevilDriver would like to stress that they hate canceling anything, and in 20 years of touring the world, they have never scrapped a tour before and are certainly not a band that wants to mess their fans or their promoters around," the groove metal unit said in a press release.

Expressing regret over the situation, DevilDriver further commented, "The band and the management would like to apologize to all their fans that had already bought tickets for the tour. Those tickets can be refunded at their original point of purchase."

Looking forward, the band intends to make it up to their overseas fans. "DevilDriver promises that it will make this up to fans and promoters alike when it returns to Europe in 2020 with a show bigger and better than ever before," they affirmed.

Next year certainly looks big for the group. March of 2020 is the target for the release of the first part of DevilDriver's forthcoming double album, according to frontman Dez Fafara in a recent interview. The two halves of the record are intended to be issued a year apart, with sounds spanning all of the singer's career.

Still on DevilDriver's 2019 schedule is their fall co-headlining tour with Static-X. See those dates below.
