Being that we're in West Texas, BBQ is a staple of many food trucks. However, you'll also find Mexican food, Asian food, desserts, drinks, and so much more.

So, if you're having an event, and in need of a caterer, look no further than the food trucks listed in the gallery below. I've tried a solid 90% of these food trucks and can attest that they are totally belly-approved and your event will be one to remember with one (or more) of these food trucks.

When you click on the name of each food truck you'll be taken to their respective Facebook pages for more info.

Delicious Abilene Area Food Trucks

If you have an area food truck that should be on this list, then please send me an email with your info so I can get you added.

Being that Abilene is a huge military community, many of those food trucks are also owned by veterans.

If you're considering opening a food truck in the Abilene area, may I offer a suggestion as to the style you should offer? I've long craved a food truck that served ballpark food. More specifically, a food truck that serves food you'd find at a Texas Rangers game.

Now, if you can't go that far, at least offer something like the garlic fries you get at a Rangers game.
