In my small town elementary school we had the “When I grow Up” speeches. As third graders we had to prepare talks on the jobs we wanted as adults. Now, for some reason in the early’ 90s it seemed like all the other kids wanted to be inventors or marine biologists...I wanted to be Whitney Houston. I don’t have to tell you, there was only one Whitney, and I am not her. BUT I did learn from listening to Whitney Houston on the radio that music and media are amazing! Radio is powerful, thought-provoking,and so much fun! I love what I do. I love telling stories and connecting and hanging out with YOU! Since back then, my music preference has shifted a bit from dance-able pop...I heard Green Day in my early teens and never looked back. ‘90s alternative rock is still my jam. Other things I love: My husband Charlie--we laugh together every day, and he puts up with all of my nonsense (which is not a small amount of nonsense), my feisty orange cat (Money Bags! Yes, that's his real name!), people watching, drinking on patios, TV (literally I’ll watch anything, but I am obsessed with crime TV and cooking shows), and most of all --my dear, dear family.
