Having a license plate that reads “ZOMBIE” may not make people think that you’re going to eat their brains or other parts of their various anatomy. It will stick in their minds in another way.

A woman in Allentown, Pennsylvania learned that lesson when she allegedly tried to flee the scene of a hit-and-run accident in her “ZOMBIE” car.

Police officials said the driver allegedly struck a man and a child who was driving his toy car at the time. The man’s son approached the driver to try and keep her at the scene as the police responded, but she tried to leave. When the son tried to get her to stay, she allegedly deployed a stun gun on him and fled the scene.

Fortunately, several witnesses who saw the attack were able to get her license plate and provide it to the responding officers. It was also rather easy to remember since it just read “ZOMBIE.”

Police found the woman’s car at her home and approached the driver after she reported a domestic assault. The woman told police she did not know who was driving her “ZOMBIE” car. An interview with another man at the scene, however, confirmed that she was driving the car and that she also kept a stun gun in the glove compartment.

The woman faces several charges including simple assault, harassment, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, careless driving, failure to stop and render aid and using an incapacitation device, among other charges. No word on whether eating brains was among those.
