Zelda 3DS XL Confirmed for US Release

The limited edition Zelda-themed 3DS XL releasing in Europe has just been made official for release here in the States.

Due out on Nov. 22, the black and gold 3DS XL with the Triforce detailing will be available for $219.99. The bundle will also include a digital download code for the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

“This beautifully designed Nintendo 3DS XL system continues a tradition that has delighted our fans for decades,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “It’s a special bundle for a very special video game.”

We already had a pretty good idea this was happening thanks to a leaked GameStop Black Friday flyer, but Nintendo had only just made it official. It's a fairly nice design, and follows suit with a similar DS Lite that came out ages ago with Phantom Hourglass. At least we now know it will be available before Black Friday.
